I’m Matthew, a designer and engineer in Seoul. At GrapeSEED, I’m building an app that teaches children to speak English, across the stack: from the voice pipeline to the first thing a six-year-old taps. Previously, I built trade intelligence products at Tridge.

Outside of code, I shoot film on a Contax T2. I got into it in 2023 through a mentor I still meet with regularly to look at frames. I’m just as serious about coffee: a V60 or a UFO dripper at home, beans from a favorite local roaster, and Professional-level certificates in Brewing and Sensory Skills from the Specialty Coffee Association.
