I’m Matthew — a designer and engineer who cares deeply about how things feel, not just how they work. I build software where AI meets human growth, and I care most about the small interactions that decide whether a product is worth returning to.

Based in Seoul, I build AI-powered learning products at GrapeSEED — where interaction design, curriculum, and child development meet. My work spans the full stack, from real-time audio pipelines to the micro-interactions of a child’s first lesson. Previously, I built trade intelligence products at Tridge.

Outside of code, I shoot film on a Contax T2 — I got into it in 2023 through a mentor I still meet with regularly to look at frames. I’m just as serious about coffee, brewed by Chemex with beans from a favorite local roaster. Both are the same habit, really — slowing down and paying attention, the instinct that pulls me toward design.
